Ibiza pick up a second consecutive league draw away at El Ejido.

Ibiza drew Sunday afternoon’s match at El Ejido’s Santo Domingo stadium. It’s the seventh draw of the season. Palop’s side once again showed their defensive strength to keep another clean sheet and take an away point, although the team were left wanting more.

The game began with both teams fighting to win control of possession; it was clear that the battle in midfield was going to be intense. In fact there was little in terms of goalmouth incident in the first half.

After a first half in which there was little between the two teams, the second half saw Ibiza trying to create more chances. Palop brought on Rodado, Provencio and Perdomo to add fresh legs going forward, but the goal just wouldn’t come. Ibiza pick up another point. Next week sees San Fernando visit Can Misses.
