Germán Parreño started as Ibiza’s first-choice goalkeeper today, and starting from his position, Ibiza’s team presented itself in a very compact fashion: “The team was very solid today. From my position at the back, I saw a team that was very concentrated and focused. This is what we are trying to achieve and I definitely noticed it from my position. We played against a team that recently got relegated, has a big budget, and looked to dictate play, but in fact it was us dictating play and taking the initiative throughout the match”.
David Morillas faced his former team, Rayo Majadahonda, and was happy with the performance shown by the squad. This is how he analysed today’s encounter: “If we can play well at home, we can go far and be successful. I was pleased by the team’s showing, we fought until the end and kept a clean sheet”.
