Ibiza midfielder, Javi García, spoke to the media in the build-up to this weekend’s away match against Talavera. The player highlighted the team’s motivation after last Sunday’s big win: “Training is always better after you’ve won at the weekend, spirits are high and you can see that on the pitch”.
“We know Talavera are a good side, the table shows that. We’ve got respect for them but we don’t fear anyone, we believe in ourselves and we’ve shown we’re capable of beating anyone”.
READY TO WIN ON SUNDAY
“The team will travel to Talavera looking to get the win, as we do every match, be it home or away. We play our game and put in the hard yards in order to achieve the same objective each week, the win”.
GETTING ON A RUN OF GOOD RESULTS
“Putting together back to back wins would be a really good morale booster for us, we’re convinced that we’re going to make it happen and take the three points back to Ibiza with us”.
GROWING AS A TEAM
“In the last match you could see the progress that’s being made, the team are clearer on what we have to do. It’s clear what direction we need to head in and we’re on the right track”.
