Karim to play on loan at Mallorca B until the end of the season

Ibiza has reached an agreement with Mallorca B loan out Karim El Kounni until the end of the season. The winger who will turn 22 years on in April, has a contract running with Ibiza until 2021 and will use the next few months to grow and develop as a footballer with the reserve side of Mallorca, one of the strong outfits of the Balearic Third Division. Karim joined Ibiza in the summer from Platges de Calvià. After a strong preseason with the first team of the Sky Blues (who he has been called up for twice during the current season), he quickly became a strong part of Sant Rafel Club de Futbol, Ibiza's affiliate team. Karim has accumulated the most amount of match minutes in the affiliate side so far this season. With twenty matches under his belt as a starter, he clocked up 1766 minutes. Karim scored four goals in his time at Sant Rafel, stats which he will aim to continue during his upcoming time at Mallorca B.
