The Royal Spanish Football Federation will tomorrow announce that Ibiza vs. Oviedo B will be played behind closed doors to prevent the spread of coronavirus

The Royal Spanish Football Federation will convene tomorrow in an assembly commissioned to make decisions based on proposed measures by the Spanish Sports Council to reduce and respond to the risk posed by the spread of the virus COVID-19 as part of sports events. The body is expected to announce that all professional and non-professional football matches are to be played behind closed doors. These measures will also impact Sunday’s match between Ibiza and Oviedo B which will be played at Can Misses in the absence of spectators. Only players, technical and coaching staff, referees and club employees will be permitted entry to Can Misses. Shortly, Ibiza will inform the media of the steps to be taken by the RFEF with regards to the broadcasting of matches. Ibiza has already put in place a protocol to ensure and implement the strictest of hygiene measures in an attempt to control the and detect any signs of possible symptoms related to the virus.
