Pablo Alfaro: "The result aside, it's a day to remember"

"First of all, and in the spirit of good sportsmanship we need to congratulate the winners. Congratulations for the win".  Pablo Alfaro analysed the derby during the post-match press conference as a "even and hard-fought" encounter against Atlético Baleares.

"As far as the result is concerned, we cannot be happy, but we have to be conscious of the calibre of opponent we faced today. As far as I am concerned one piece of play determined the outcome of the match. In a very tight contest with few goalscoring opportunities, their goal made the game take a completely different turn", said Ibiza's headcoach.

Alfaro added that the road ahead in Second Division B is long and arduous. "We need to know that you cannot always get three points", pointing out that his team "left everything it had on the pitch" during "a beautiful morning of football". The coach highlighted the outstanding support of the fans who filled the stands at Can Misses, creating a special atmosphere "that puts Balearic football in a good place". His final conclusion was clear and concise: "The result aside, it's a day to remember".
