Ibiza get an away draw against Jumilla in a game of few chances.

Ibiza picked up their third draw of the season in a 0-0 stalemate in Jumilla. Palop’s men showed their fighting spirit once again and got an away point to take them to 21 points for the season.

The first half was an extremely tight affair with very little action in either penalty box. Ibiza sat deep and tried to hit the opposition in the break, while Jumilla were content to keep possession without ever really threatening the Ibiza goal. The second half saw more of the same. Ibiza held firm in defence, showing good organisation and intensity, awaiting chances to counter.

The closest the deadlock came to being broken was when Nuñez headed past Ruddy in the Jumilla goal, but he was flagged offside by the assistant referee. Herrera also tried his luck with an effort on goal, but it wasn’t to be. Despite the big shift put in by the whole Ibiza team, the game remained goalless and Palop’s side picked up a hard-fought away point.
