Javi Pérez reinforces Ibiza's midfield

Javi Pérez (Cabanillas del Campo, Guadalajara, 14 August 1995) became a free agent on 30 June 2019 after spending the last seasons at Real Valladolid and, as of today, is a new player of Unión Deportiva Ibiza. The midfielder, 23 years of age, has signed for one season with the option of extending the contract for an additional season.

The latest Ibiza signing has accumulated 131 matches in Second Division B (scoring 8 goals), playing the 65 most recent matches with the white and purple shirt of the Valladolid affiliate team. Javi Pérez made his debut for the first team of Valladolid as part of the squad that secured promotion to LaLiga in season 2017/2018.

Previously, the right-footed player who can also play as an attacking midfielder –as a number 8 or 10– represented Almería B and Guadalajara where he competed in a playoff for promotion to the Second Division A.
