Ibiza were unable to get a third consecutive win in what proved to be an intense and highly competitive game against RB Linense. The first half was very even with few clear chances for either side, although the visitors did have one effort cleared off the line by the Ibiza defence. Apart from that, the half was characterised by strong tackling and effective pressing by both teams, meaning they went in level at the break.
The second half was similar to the first, with both teams finding it hard to carve out clear chances. The introduction of Borriello with 20 minutes left seemed to spark the Ibiza attack into life. The Italian striker almost scored with a header from a corner but an opposition defender managed to clear off his line. Serra had a chance right at the end but his low shot was saved at the near post. The match ended 0-0, a hard earned point that perhaps could have been three. Ibiza now set their sights on next week's away match against Recreativo Granada.
