The Ibiza City Council wishes Ibiza luck for the upcoming season

Today the three deputy mayors of the Ibiza City Council, Elena López –also in charge of the department of sport–, Carmen Boned and Aitor Morrás paid a visit to Unión Deportiva Ibiza. The councillors had the opportunity to get to know the club's employees, the coaching staff, the medical department as well as all the players of the sky blue first squad, and presented the club with several books about the island's fascinating and rich heritage.

Amadeo Salvo and Pablo Alfaro took on the role of guiding the guests around the Can Misses stadium during the visit. López, Boned and Morrás were given first-hand insights into the daily operations of a professional football club like Ibiza, both from a football as well as an institutional, economic and social perspective.

After finishing their tour of the municipal facilities, the councillors took the opportunity to wish the first team the best of luck for the upcoming season in Second Division B which gets underway on 25 August. The three City Council members were then presented with season tickets as well as official Ibiza jerseys as a memento of their visit.

Thank you very much for visiting us!
