Ibiza play Elche in a friendly on Friday

The fourth preseason friendly will see Ibiza take on Elche Club de Fútbol. On Friday (2 August), Unión Deportiva Ibiza will play against the historic Spanish football team currently competing in the Second Division. Tomorrow, Pablo Alfaro's side will add another 90 minutes of match practice to its preparations at the home ground of Vilamarxant ahead of the Elche friendly at La Nucía (Alicante).

Situated half-way between Alicante and the Cracks football academy, Ibiza's training base during almost three weeks, the Ciudad Deportiva Camilo Cano is the perfect place for the green and whites to face the Sky Blues (dressed in their new all black away kits) in a clash which is anticipated to be of a high level. The fixture will kick off at 7.30pm and general admission tickets will be priced at 10 Euros. Members of Elche, Ibiza and Club de Fútbol La Nucía (recently promoted to Second Division B Group III) pay a 5 Euro entry fee to see the match.

The confirmation of this friendly subsequently means the originally planned test match against Atzeneta Unió Esportiva has been cancelled. Ibiza's club and sporting officials would like to express their appreciation to the club from Castellón for their understanding and thank them for their cooperation. Good luck for your season in the Third Division, Atzeneta!
